About this piece
This is the Acanthus Sapphire Band in 24ct gold plate.
This is a slim band, about 5 mm wide, carved with fine acanthus scrollwork the whole way round and then set with two Australian parti sapphires and a single lab-grown diamond between them. That's a lot of hand work on a narrow band, and the leaf-work is the kind of detail you keep noticing.
It wears well on its own or stacked. The sapphires each carry their own mix of colour, so no two bands come out quite the same.
About the finish: this is real 24ct gold bonded onto the metal, not a spray or a dip over brass.
